ঢাকা: বিয়ের প্রলোভন দেখিয়ে প্রেমের অভিনয় করে মেয়ের পক্ষ থেকে যৌতুকের টাকা নিয়ে পালিয়েছে পাত্র এবং তার পরিবার। প্রেমের ফাঁদে ফেলে প্রতারক নিজাম উদ্দিন পাত্রীর সঙ্গে দৈহিক সম্পর্ক গড়ে তুলে পালিয়ে যাওয়ার বিষয়টি অবশেষে নারায়ণগঞ্জ সদর থানা পুলিশে অভিযোগ করেছেন মেয়ের মা সিরিয়া বেগম। কিন্তু পুলিশ এখনো পর্যন্ত কাউকে গ্রেফতার করতে পারেনি। ফলে প্রতারিত মেয়েটি এখন ঘুরছে এলাকার মাতব্বর-প্রধানদের দ্বারে দ্বারে। বিয়ে অনুষ্ঠানের জন্য যাবতীয় সব কাজ প্রায় সম্পন্ন। এর কমিউনিটি সেন্টার ভাড়া করা হয়েছিল। কার্ড ছেপে আত্মীয়স্বজনদের দাওয়াত দেয়ার কাজও শেষ হয়েছিল। বিয়ের বাকি ছিল মাত্র ২ দিন।
বিধিবাম, ওই সময় পাত্রের বাড়ি থেকে খবর আসে পাত্রকে পাওয়া যাচ্ছে না। এ খবরে মাথায় আকাশ ভেঙে পড়ে পাত্রীর পরিবারের ওপর। কারণ পাত্রপক্ষকে বিশ্বাস করে এলাকার মুরব্বীদের ধার্য করা নগদ দেড় লাখ টাকা যৌতুকের ৬০ হাজার টাকা আগেই এলাকার মাতব্বর-প্রধানদের মাধ্যমে পাত্রের বড়ভাই মোহাম্মদ আলীর হাতে তুলে দেয়া হয়েছে। বিয়ের ঠিক এক দিন আগে পাত্রের পরিবারের সবাই বাড়ি থেকে পালিয়ে যায়। চাঞ্চল্যকর এ ঘটনা ঘটেছে নারায়ণগঞ্জ শহরের শহীদনগর এলাকায়।
গত শুক্রবার শহীদনগর এলাকার মৃত বাদশা মিয়ার প্রতারক ছেলে নিজাম উদ্দিনের সঙ্গে একই এলাকার মৃত তৌহিদ আলীর মেয়ে সুলতানা বেগমের বিয়ে হওয়ার কথা ছিল। অবস্থা বেগতিক দেখে পাত্রীর মা সিরিয়া বেগম সদর মডেল থানায় পাত্রসহ তার পরিবারের সদস্যদের বিরুদ্ধে একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ করেছেন।
